Summer Football Camps kick off with bumper numbers attending the first week

An impressive turnout of nearly 140 boys and girls took to the fields at Ballafletcher yesterday morning for the start of Week 1 ready to learn new skills and build friendships.

Run in conjunction with The ICUE Academy, the camps’ primary focus is to improve skills, learn teamwork, and nurture sportsmanship but we also firmly believe in having fun – and making the most of the Isle of Man sun while it’s out!

The club worked hard this year to make the camps more accessible to all budding football stars by offering lower prices and greater flexibility in choosing the number of days to participate. And we’re delighted to say that more than 400 kids have signed up so far for our four Summer Football camps! This marks a significant increase from last year (up by 75%) and we can’t thank our parents and fans enough for your incredible support.

We’re also very grateful for the support of our amazing new community partner, IFGL. Their commitment to the club has helped us make the camps a reality not only this year but for many years to come. IFGL will also rewarding all kids with special goody bags at the end of each week – making it truly a special week to remember!

There are still a few places remaining on our three other camps at St Johns, Colby and Ballafletcher in the final week.
