We are thrilled to announce that FC Isle of Man has successfully re-registered to receive Kick It Out charter status for the upcoming 2023-24 season.
This not only reflects our club’s commitment to fostering an inclusive environment but also serves as a testament to our proud support of Kick It Out’s vision of a football community free from discrimination and prejudice.
Kick It Out is a renowned organization that tirelessly works towards challenging discrimination and racism in football across all levels. Through their proactive initiatives, they aim to eradicate all forms of discrimination, be it based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or disability. Their comprehensive approach involves providing education, training, mentoring, and support to clubs, players, fans, and communities.
At FC Isle of Man, we firmly believe that football should be a sport that unifies individuals from diverse backgrounds, where everyone feels a sense of belonging and can simply enjoy the game without fear or prejudice.
Obtaining Kick It Out charter status has several benefits for our club and the wider community. Firstly, it enhances our reputation as an inclusive and socially responsible organization and additionally, it provides us with resources and training programs that enable us to further educate our staff, players, and volunteers about discrimination-related issues.
As the start of the 2023-24 season is fast approaching, we encourage everyone associated with FC Isle of Man to join us in fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment that enriches the sport we all love.
