MATCH PREVIEW: Bury FC (H)

FC Isle of Man had an impressive 4-3 victory over high flying Prestwich Heys on Saturday who before the game were unbeaten in 12 games at home. The Ravens are now unbeaten in four, winning the last three games climbing to 12th in the league table and 9th in the form table.

Post Match Interview with Manager Paul Jones

This weekend we welcome none other than Bury FC who travel over from the famous Gigg Lane. Bury FC are without a doubt challenging for the league title and currently top of the league. They last played on Tuesday, a 2-0 victory away to Cheadle Town.

We have of course faced Bury FC (formally Bury FC before the merger between the two separate supporter-led groups merged) three times before. We unfortunately lost the two away games but came away with all three points in the home game last season, a game that goes down as one of the most memorable games in our short history. Watch our goals from that one below.

Turning our attentions back to this game, Mike Holt FC Isle of Man podcast host & member of the media team, sat down with Adam Clark from Roch Volley Radio to preview this game, you can watch that below.

Golden Goal

Each ticket for golden goal costs just £2 and contains a concealed minute, if the goal is scored in the minute you have then you have won! The winner will be announced over the PA when the first goal of the game is scored. The winner will receive £90!

A Pound for the Ground

Tickets are just £1 each and the winner takes 40% of sales. This operates like a tombola, where for each £1 you get a ticket with a unique number on. It is then drawn from the Ravens tombola box at half time.
