After a tricky spell of results the Ravens breezed past Burscough FC 3-1 thanks to a double from Sean Doyle and a third to seal it from Charlie Higgins. We are extremely proud that seven under 21’s started against Burscough, a promising sign for the future of FC Isle of Man. Watch the post match interview with Paul Jones & Sean Doyle below along with the match highlights.
Moving on to the game this weekend, the Ravens are once again at home for what is now the 7th game running! This week we face Charnock Richard, they currently sit 14th in the league table 3 points behind the Ravens however the league table is a little deceiving as due to all of the postponements the visitors have 6 games in hand over the Ravens. Scoring in 90% of their matches so far this season, Ravens goalkeeper Ben Wilkinson will once again need to be in fine form of the back of his man of the match performance last week.
Ravens will be hoping for a repeat of the last time Charnock Richard visited the Island (November 26th 2022), a game which ended FC Isle of Man 2 – 1 Charnock Richard. FC Isle of Man will be looking to stop the momentum that Charnock Richard have been building, going ten games without a loss and five games away from home without a loss.

There are four changes in the Ravens squad this week. Tom Creer, Tiernan Garvey (sickness), Blake Henwood & Jack McVey drop out with Ronan McDonnell (named in the squad for the first time this season), Dan Simpson, Eoghain Sherrard & Michael Williams all coming in.

Golden Goal
Each ticket for golden goal costs just £2 and contains a concealed minute, if the goal is scored in the minute you have then you have won! The winner will be announced over the PA when the first goal of the game is scored. The winner will receive £90!
A Pound for the Ground
New to FC Isle of Man and currently on a trial basis is a pound for the ground! The tickets are just £1 each and the winner takes 40% of sales. This operates like a tombola, where for each £1 you get a ticket with a unique number on. It is then drawn from the Ravens tombola box at half time.
