FC Isle of Man are delighted to announce that Dean Pinnington has put pen to paper and signed for Bury FC.
Dean is a fairly new addition to the FC Isle of Man squad making his debut vs Wythenshawe Town on July 29th a game that the Ravens went on to win 2-0. Since then Dean has made a total of thirty appearances, twenty nine of them in the starting eleven. He scored a total of seven goals including a brace over AFC Liverpool. Dean was voted man of the match six times by the opposition.
We sat down with him at The Bowl before he departed for the market town of the north, Bury.
The mission of the club when the idea originally came about in 2018 was to create opportunities for Manx-based football players, coaches and professionals to fulfil their potential by entering and progressing a team up through the English football leagues. As a club we are extremely proud that Dean has signed for a club that has high ambitions of progressing up the leagues.
We also caught up with Manager Paul Jones to get his thoughts on the news.
Everyone from the club would like to congratulate Dean on the move, we look forward to seeing your career progress.
