At FC Isle of Man, we’re passionate about giving local players the platform and opportunity to shine at the highest level possible.
For the last 2 seasons we have adopted an opening training session process to both identify talented players and understand which players on-Island wishes to put their name forward to play for FC Isle of Man.
This process has served us well and helped to provide over 10 players into match day squads with many earning opportunities to play in the team.
With the majority of these players from last season being available again for the coming season we thought it might be a good time to try a different approach to player recruitment.
We are therefore going to send club representatives out to view players in the local game in addition to improving our interaction with local managers. We have been doing both of these things in previous seasons however we wish to be better in both areas going forward.
To ensure we spend our time wisely while providing equal opportunities for people across the local game the online form below enables players who believe they have the talent, commitment and resilience to play for FC Isle of Man to put their name forward for consideration. Managers, coaches and well-informed others around the local game are also able to put players names forward.
Players will need to be resident on the IOM and at least 16 year of age (or turning 16 before May 2026 as a minimum) to be considered. Once we have received completed forms the information will be reviewed and players will be contacted / monitored / assessed with those identified as having potential invited in to train / play where opportunities allow.
