After a postponed game midweek vs Charnock Richard due to a waterlogged pitch it gave the team a rare midweek break from games and the opportunity to train twice as a group. The squad will be hoping to replicate the outcome against ninteenth place Burscough. Burscough have recently been on a good run of form and are positioned in 8th place in the form table. Last time out (Tuesday) they beat Longrdige Town 3-1.
After being unavailable for selection several weeks Dean Leece returns to the squad after scoring three goals in eight appearances so far this season.
