The Ravens have returned to the Island after a brilliant result away to Litherland REMYCA last night with Dean Leece scoring a 93rd minute winner to ensure that they returned with all three points.
No time to rest on our laurels though we are straight into a busy August bank holiday weekend, first up on Saturday is Longridge Town. The home side are one of four sides in the league yet to pick up a win in the opening month of the 2023/2024 season so the Ravens will be looking to repeat yesterdays performance and bring all three points back to the Island.
As we alluded to earlier in the week Manager Paul Jones is unavailable so Assistant Manager Alex Harrison will once again be in charge. The home side have very kindly put together some information for our supporters you can view it here.
Looking to the squad, Ravens fans will be pleased to see the return of both Furo Davies & Sean Doyle. Furo is set to make his first appearance of the season and Doyle returning from an injury picked up against Litherland REMYCA on August 5th.
Ben Wilkinson also looks to make his first appearance of the season in net for the Ravens.
