After a 2-0 victory over Wythenshawe to kickstart the Ravens new season in the Northwest Counties Football League Premier Division they will be hoping to build on the result in the first away game of the season against Ramsbottom United.
Another tough test for the Ravens with the Rams coming down from step four (the step above us). They will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing start to life in the Northwest Counties Football League Premier Division after losing 4-0 to the other team in Wythenshawe, Wythenshawe FC.
Is is the start of a busy August for the Ravens with 7 fixtures in total to be played, 5 of which are away from home.
Manager Paul Jones has chosen to rotate some of the squad with Jack McVey & Tiernan Garvey both welcomed additions to the squad for the game today. Dean Pinnington was unfortunately sent off for two bookable offences on Saturday but will serve his one game ban on Saturday rather than today.
